The journey of Mixed Martial Arts in Kenya
The Beginning
KEMMAF was established with the vision of creating a unified, professional governing body for Mixed Martial Arts in Kenya. Recognizing the rapid growth of MMA globally and the immense talent within Kenya, a group of passionate stakeholders came together to formalize the sport's structure in the country.
The federation was officially registered to provide a regulatory framework that ensures athlete safety, promotes fair competition, and develops the sport at all levels—from grassroots to professional.
